The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a ground stop for flights in and out of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International and Miami International airports, as well as at South Florida satellite airports, after a power outage at the Miami Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON).
In a statement, the FAA said that as of 1:00 p.m. FAA technicians had returned all systems to service at Miami Tower/TRACON, and operations are returning to normal.
