President, UPS Healthcare

As president of UPS Healthcare, John oversees all aspects of UPS’s healthcare vertical globally. He joined UPS in April 2022, responsible for global healthcare logistics and distribution where he successfully led the business across UPS’s Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa (AMEA) operations. He was promoted to president in April 2023.

John brings more than 27 years of global executive experience in pharmaceutical and life sciences, leading and developing corporate strategy and operational execution in delivering value for patients. For 22 years, John worked at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, providing leadership in areas such as manufacturing operations, supply chain, business development, procurement and contract development and manufacturing. During his time at GSK, John held several positions across various functions eventually rising to the role of senior vice president of supply chain.

After leaving GSK, John joined Lantheus Medical Imaging – a global specialty pharma and imaging company delivering novel diagnostic and therapeutic products in the cardiology and oncology sectors – as chief operations officer, where he led operational and technical performance across the entire company. Prior to joining UPS, he served as chief operating officer at Adare Pharma Solutions where he was responsible for spearheading global sales, operations, contract development and manufacturing strategy across the U.S and Europe.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Central Florida.
