Research Triangle Park, NC, Dec 18, 2013 – Marken announced today the completion of its Santiago, Chile depot facility and the beginning of construction in Sao Paulo, Brazil.  The company continues towards its final phase of its global depot network.

The new Santiago facility will be a GMP compliant facility strategically located only 10 kilometers away from the international airport in Santiago de Chile.  The depot will now undergo a meticulous validation process before it will be made available to clients in the first quarter 2014.

The Santiago facility is the third wholly owned and operated depot in Latin America and brings the total global network to eight.  The company plans to complete two additional depots in Latin America before the end of 2014, one in Lima, Peru and the other in Sao Paulo, Brazil.  Construction of both depots is now underway with anticipated openings in April and June, respectively.
