Operational Update: Kyiv, Ukraine Depot Incident

Earlier today, September 3rd, a Marken facility in Kyiv was impacted during a drone attack and is currently being attended by emergency services. The safety of our employees remains our highest priority, and we are relieved to confirm that all personnel are safe and warehouse staff were successfully evacuated.

At this time:

  • Depot services are unavailable until further notice.
  • Military and emergency response teams, including firefighters, remain on site.
  • Due to ongoing security concerns, we are currently unable to assess the full extent of the damage or provide a timeline for the resumption of depot operations.
  • Local preparation of temperature-controlled packaging is currently unavailable.
  • Regular import and export transportation services remain fully operational and are not impacted by this incident.
  • There is no impact on import shipments into Ukraine.
  • Dry ice and uncontrolled packaging solutions remain available where appropriate.

We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide further updates as soon as additional information becomes available. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this exceptional circumstance.
