Marken was tasked with delivering a life-saving gene therapy treatment for a child suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) in the United Arab Emirates.
The shipment, a temperature-sensitive therapy stored at -75°C, had to travel over 3,000 miles from Germany within a tight 48-hour window. Faced with numerous complexities, including international route planning, precise temperature control, and real-time tracking, Marken's Advanced Therapy Division (ATD) implemented a customized supply chain solution. They ensured compliance with local regulations and worked with global teams to execute the mission seamlessly.
