The Marken team applied its expertise to develop custom strategies, allowing for the incremental clinical vaccine delivery the client requested. This required splitting the standard trays of vaccines and repackaging into smaller quantities. Deliveries were made in a single trip in order to save time and maintain a sustainable budget.

To address the client’s security concerns, closed-circuit television (CCTV) capabilities were enhanced on-site. Additionally, in conjunction with their own world-class quality management procedures, the Marken team allowed undercover police officers to operate within the facility to meet specific customer requirements. Overall, Marken’s solution:

• Established active, real-time temperature tracking
• Added more CCTV security cameras
• Placed two undercover police officers in the facility
• Repacked standard vials per tray into smaller shipments of vials to accommodate needs, while maintaining cold chain requirements
• Implemented personalized deliveries to all 26 healthcare centers to save time and cost
• Utilized geofencing to expedite deliveries

A personalized security solution was put in place to address the client’s specific need. As a result, the regional Ministry of Health could confidently distribute its variable supply of temperature-sensitive vaccines with pinpoint precision.
