Marken Operational Update: CrowdStrike Global Outage

Marken is aware and closely monitoring the ongoing global impact that the CrowdStrike outage is having on many industries and companies around the world.
At this time, Marken services and systems are not interrupted, and we remain fully operational with daily collections.
Please note, that Marken has implemented contingency plans, leveraging our UPS Air network, and are diverting exports to other airports, to avoid impacts wherever possible. Our team is proactively working with our business partners and clients to provide alternative arrangements and our Customer Service team is communicating necessary updates directly to our clients, on a case-by-case basis, and supporting them with printing all required shipment documentation and labels.
While we continue to assess the situation, we understand and anticipate operational delays, causing disruption within the supply chain. We are proactively monitoring all transportation routes at this time and our experts are working on solutions. OPERATIONAL UPDATES:
TRANSPORT LOGISTICS
- AIRLINES – Impacted airlines are resuming normal operations. As part of Marken’s contingency plans, in cases where airports are inaccessible, we are leveraging UPS Air.
- ROAD – Marken continues to source alternate routes, as needed, to reduce impacts to shipments in/out of regions. Marken’s regional partners are ready for road solutions and we have regional hubs in place, within our network, consolidating shipments to redispatch to destinations, where needed.
REGULATORY & COMPLIANCE
- CUSTOMS & HANDLING AGENT – Due to some global airline closures, there are delays expected in the handling processes of import/export and customs clearance operations. Marken’s certified customs specialists and regulatory experts are readily available to discuss shipping lane verification requirements, customs regulations, local sanctions and guidelines as needed.
